www.jamceramics.sitesofourown.com - Guestbook

As a lasting reminder of your visit, it would be great if you would add a message to the guestbook..

Dad, I like the website. I've astounded my coworkers with your resume and accomplishments. The only thing I can suggest to better the site is to add photos of your functional work.

I have people interested in one of your mugs I've had since 2001 (I brought it for my coffee here at work), and would like to refer them to more photos and variety.

Keep up the hard work Dad!

See you in Detroit.

Great work.  Still love the black & white alot and the gold gives them  brilliance and makes them very precious !!!

John:

I am not only your student, but an ardent admirer of your work. I look forward to our ever-developing relationship as student-teacher as well as fellow sojourners on the road of life. Great work, great website.

Hello,  I just found this site while looking at ceramics.  I thought I'd let you know that I purchased one of your pots at the Biddle Gallery in December and have enjoyed having it around.  Harlan

The vessels are so delicate, such beautiful organic forms with transparent color/patterns.  What a wonderful surprise to discover the pattern inside one vessel and outside on another.  And the way the pieces float on the fingers of the brick--a wonderful contrast of texture and color.  I really like these slip cast porcelain pieces!!

Thank you for taking the time to talk with my out-of-town friend and me (July 20th) about your work as you were unpacking for the show at the Detroit Artists Market.  We really appreciated the opportunity to see your work. (Matt let us in the door; Tom Phardel also was there at this time.)

Beautiful work!

I just completed one of John A. Murphy's Raku classes. Not only does each piece that he creates in class inspire you, but his way of teaching helps make your pottery aspirations attainable....even for beginners like me! Keep up the good work!

WOW!! There are some pretty impressive pieces in the photo gallery.  The process is also very interesting.  Keep up the teachings, it seems as if you are giving a lot of students something to look forward to.
